archery park & hunter education training facility

Archery Park and Hunter Education Training Facility is a new, world-class, Olympic regulation indoor and outdoor archery range designed for the Division of Fish and Wildlife for the State of New Jersey. The 90,000 square foot building is designed to nestle into the existing topography with native meadow planting, harmonizing it with its rural surroundings. The main drive meanders uphill to the main entry of the building where a parking area is similarly buffered by topography and planting. LEED principles were applied through the entire design process. The project demonstrates that a modern building with a large footprint can be successfully integrated into a very natural site with minimal disturbance.
