Bachelors of Landscape Architecture, Pennsylvania State University

Ms. Waigwa, landscape designer, joined the firm in February 2025. She graduated with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Pennsylvania State University in December 2019.

At MKW + Associates, Ms. Waigwa is involved with various site projects at NYCHA as an Assistant Landscape Architect in the Long Island City office. One of these includes NYCHA’s waste yards where the scope of work includes both hardscape and landscape that support the temporary storage and disposal of property waste. Her contributions to the team include developing documents for all phases of projects and preparing presentations and graphics to communicate design ideas.

Prior to joining MKW + Associates, Ms. Waigwa worked as a landscape designer on high end residential projects on Long Island, New York as well as at a firm in New York City assisting on an array of projects including rooftop design, public plazas, and waterfront projects. As a member of ASLA New York Chapter she was recognized during their member spotlight in 2021. Her exposure to a diverse array of projects and travels around the world has shaped the designer she is today.
